Accurate Appraisals

At Hennick & Company, a staff of accredited gemologists are here to assist you with all your appraisal requirements. Whether the appraisal document is for insurance, estate, probate or fair market value purposes we integrate the most up to date technology and observe the highest ethical standards within our industry, for every report. A jewellery appraisal is a complete analysis and quantification of a piece of jewellery.

At Hennick & Company, each piece of jewellery submitted for appraisal will have been:

  • Ultrasonically cleaned
  • Inspected for loose gemstones
  • Inspected for required repairs
  • Individually measured and quality graded for each gemstone
  • Analyzed and identified using gem instruments and gem laboratory equipment
  • Examined for karat and trademark stamping
  • Tested for proper metal content
  • Electronically weighed
  • Photographed
  • Valued for Insurance purposes
